My Journey: From Designer to Developer
My tech journey began with a creative spark during college when I discovered graphic design. I started freelancing on platforms like Fiverr, Upwork, and PeoplePerHour, specializing in logo design and brand identity creation. This early entrepreneurial experience taught me the importance of understanding client needs and delivering solutions that truly resonate with their vision.
After a year of successful freelancing and completing my college degree, I realized that understanding code would unlock new possibilities. I wanted to bridge the gap between design and functionality, offering my clients complete digital solutions. This curiosity led me to Peak Solutions, where I mastered the fundamentals of web development—HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. My first milestone was building a complete e-commerce store using core PHP without any frameworks, which gave me deep insights into how web applications work under the hood.
In 2019, I joined i10Studios, a software development company in Lahore, as a Web Developer. Starting with WordPress and Shopify projects, I quickly expanded my toolkit by learning Angular, which earned me a promotion to Junior Frontend Developer. My hunger for learning didn’t stop there—I dove into .NET for backend development, creating applications with authentication systems, CRUD operations, and complex data management features.
The turning point came in 2021 when I embraced React.js, followed by Next.js. These modern frameworks opened up new possibilities for creating dynamic, high-performance applications. Today, I seamlessly work across the full stack, handling everything from responsive React frontends to robust .NET and Node.js backends.
What Drives Me Forward
Currently, I’m expanding my expertise into Python and AI/ML technologies, always staying ahead of the curve. My goal is to become equally proficient across all layers of application development while exploring the exciting possibilities that artificial intelligence brings to modern software solutions.
